Swift Cleaning is the creation of John Gilliam and Alec Shaw. They are both Maine natives and have strong roots in the southern Maine area. Swift, was created to set the standard in the cleaning industry through outstanding customer service, honesty, punctuality, and attention to detail. Swift Cleaning is striving to set itself apart in this fast growing industry by going the extra mile, displaying a deep commitment to customer satisfaction and providing a superior cleaning service. With passionate and driven owners leading the way Swift Cleaning is committed to becoming Maine's premier cleaning service. Alec Shaw

Alec is a Maine native having grown up on Peaks Island and graduating from Portland High School. Before starting Swift Cleaning he spent ten years working in the mining industry at all levels of management both in Colorado and Wyoming. His last position was Superintendent of Operations. In, 2017 he left mining and started a commercial cleaning company based in Fort Collins, Colorado. In the first year of business the company was able to grow from 2 employees to 17 employees and increase revenue by 5000 percent.

But the desire to return to Maine was always there and with a young family he knew it was time. He and his wife sold the business and moved back to Maine "I am so excited to be back in Maine as a small business owner. I love the sense of community and I look forward to working and growing my family in the wonderful state of Maine."
